When you begin a sentence with a proper noun which should remain uncapitalised under other circumstances to avoid confusion with others, then it should remain uncapitalised, I'd argue.

I was in Chester last week when they played Wrexham, kicked off big time, all the pubs were shut .

They are only 14 miles apart, must be the closest cross border fixture

Spelt and spelled are fine. I am an English teacher and so never make any miztakes.

Sainsbury's does have an apostrophe - check their logo.
